Today is Winter Solstice. Happy First Day of Winter! Today, we turn the corner toward longer days and a bit more sunlight. Dec. 21 is the winter solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year in Earth’s Northern Hemisphere. On Friday, we’ll start gaining a few seconds of daylight again.

Join us for a free Winter afternoon of learning the art of folding origami snowflakes! We will make lovely snowflakes to hang in our window in order to encourage real snowflakes to fall in our backyards this season!
